2011 Nominated as the Celebrity Partner of The United Nations World Food Programme.
The revealing of Shamma's painting: “Fighting Hunger”at Damascus Opera House during the premiere of Syrian film director, Nabil Al-Maleh’s movie: “Story of a Painting".
“Fighting Hunger” was then exhibited at The National Museum of Damascus.
